I have been turned down from several places for my work that I thought was strong. The art school I wanted to go too turned me down pretty quickly. But of course, I am glad for all of that. What I have learned at the state school I go to now has been worth it. I have been in nearly a dozen galleries in a year and I was hired by a gallery director.

I am sorry you didn't get in, I know that feeling. But things just might go better than you think. Besides we all know the kinds of attitudes you can find at a design school. Learning outside of that environment will make you more unique when you get into it. Just by looking at your work I can see you have a chance to be a interesting artists, you just need to push on.
