I thought I would update with some good since the last couple have been bad.

Its my bday! I am 24 today!

It was an awesome birthday, It was a SNOWDAY! AND I went sledding.

AND AND AND just as I thought that my birthday was sadly coming to its end, I got a letter in the mail.

I AM A FINALIST IN THE PHOTO CONTEST I ENTERED IN NOVEMBER!!!!!! The one where I have a chance to win $2000 and a Nikon D90!!!!

I wont find out till the end of February if i am a prize winner but either way my photo will be published in the Photographer's Forum "Best of College Photography 2009" a hardbound book.

So looks like not all is gone bad. I could really use the cash.

Also I appreciate the comments on my last entry.

I was so bummed but I do think it is actually better this way. I think mostly its hard to have some one say, your work is good but not good enough. Its especially hard for an artist to take that kind of statement I suppose.
